Iphone calendar not updating
If you've noticed missing calendar appointments (e.g., lost meetings, delegate issues), or meeting updates from someone other than the original organizer, you're not alone.
This issue has been reported in organizations with Microsoft Exchange, Outlook (2003, 2007, 2010 or 2013), Apple i Phones/i Pads/i Pods, Active Sync devices, Apple Macs running Entourage or Outlook 2011, and RIM Blackberries.
I am not sure where to begin troubleshooting this issue, so any suggestions would be welcome.
This account is one of our busier accounts, so there are a lot of appointments and contacts to sync. We have removed the account from the phone a couple times and re-added it with no change.
I have my work email (exchange) on both my iphone and ipad. scroll down to Default Calendar, make sure it's one that's on the Exchange server.
Normally when I enter a calendar appt on either the iphone , ipad or Microsoft office calendar then would eventually put that appt on the other 2 but lately it has not. When you create a new calendar item, scroll down on the "Add Event" screen and make sure Calendar is set to the appropriate one.
The phone is syncing all email without any problems.Exchange calendar is not syncing with their i Phone. They have another calendar (personal events) in their profile that is syncing correctly. It doesn't help my position that this account belongs to our President and CEO! We have tried changing the length of time that the calendar will sync for, but this setting does not seem to do anything on either our i OS or Android phones.
Zimbra syncs the entire calendar back to January 2013 no matter what the setting on the phone says.Any advice from anyone about alternatives to Wunderlist would be appreciated before they delete this post.
